Inspiring our beautiful Hilo town to become a better place to live, the Aloha Exchange Club of East Hawai'i is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. We are proud to support and service our community for more than 40 years!
As a part of The National Exchange Club, an organization serving the community and country for over 100 years, we look forward to our continued presence in Hilo, working together to grow, strengthen and make our hometown a great place to live, work and play! We'd love for you to come join us at one of our meetings or a service project.
Police Officer of the Month
Every quarter, we honor Police Officers selected for each of the 3 months for their outstanding work and service to make our community safe. These individuals are selected by the Field Operations, Area 1 staff based on their accomplishments during the respective months.

Annual Award Banquet
Each spring, our club honors a well-deserving firefighter and police officer who are selected by the Fire and Police Departments. Our goal is to recognize these honorees for their selfless sacrifices they make throughout the year and to increase community awareness of the vital roles they play in making the island a safe place to work, play and live.
Club Meetings and Community
We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month to socialize, have fun and to plan ways to improve the well-being of our community, be it through our own events/activities or by partnering with other community organizations.
We are proud to participate in the annual Veteran's Parade, Prevention of Child Abuse and Sex Assault, and much more!
