CHILD ABUSE AWARENESS MONTH
"Blue Monday" Sign Waiving
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. "Blue Monday" Sign Waving project is aimed at promoting the Prevention of Child Abuse. Hawaiʻi County Mayor, Mitch Roth, recently proclaimed April as the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month.
Club members, along with community partners such as the Prosecutor's Office, Hawai'i Police Department, and the YWCA Sexual Assault Program join together at selected roadside sights with signs to provide public awareness. Participants should wear some sort of blue attire.
Come, join us in this worthy cause and together, we can make a difference to make lives better for children in our community...and leaders of tomorrow!
